BeerProv spilled onto the comedy scene for the first time in June of 2010 and quickly developed a reputation as being one of the funniest shows in Canada. A rotating cast of comedians instantly create hilarious, unscripted sketches from audience suggestions and are eliminated one by one until only the winner remains and is awarded the coveted BeerProv Mug of Champions!

Oh. And everyone is drinking throughout the entire show. Especially the folks onstage.

The show has featured many of the funniest performers in Toronto and New York: including Colin Mochrie, Sean Cullen, and Gavin Crawford. The BeerProv roster includes Second City Alumni, Canadian Comedy Award winners, and many recognizable faces from Canadian and American television. It reads like a list of comedy royalty.

In 2013, The Draft was introduced in Toronto. Similar in style to BeerProv, the show features the best up and coming comedians and improvisors competing under BeerProv rules for the chance to participate in the monthly main show.

All of them are also drinking.

In April, 2014, BeerProv made its US debut at the historic Webster Hall on New York’s Lower East Side. The show featured a one of a kind mix of the best improvisers from Canada and local New York Comedians curated by BeerProv host and creator Jim Robinson. In March of 2015, BeerProv moved south to its new home in Brooklyn and performed a series of monthly shows at Littlefield in Gowanus.

It’s an experience you’ll never forget. Be sure to buy your tickets in advance as this show sells out well before the doors open. Grab a few friends, eat something starchy and see why BeerProv is one of the funniest shows you will ever see, guaranteed.

There’s no such thing as a comedy hangover.
